Nederland Independent School District leaders are hoping to welcome students back to campuses across the district sometime in April, but schoolwork is taking place between now and that eventual return date.
Elementary, middle and high school parents started picking up this week’s homebound assignments Monday morning via car lines set up at Nederland High School.
The effort continues Tuesday.
“Our goal is to ensure our students are provided equitable access to high quality resources for learning enrichment,” Assistant Superintendent Stuart Kieschnick said last week. “Our flexible education program will provide the necessary resources to keep students engaged in active learning.”
