Jacquet named 2015 CavOILcade queen
Marissa Jacquet was recently crowned the 2015 CavOILcade queen.
Jacques, the daughter of Rachel and Marcus Jacquet, represented Fontenette Tax and Financial Services during the pageant held at the Robert A. “Bob” Bowers Civic Center.
Jacquet attends Memorial High School in Port Arthur where her activities include Nationa Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, Business Professionals of America, Marching Flames Drill Team captain, Lamar State College-Port Arthur co-enrollment program and advanced placement classes.
Her community activities include Ivy League, Port Arthur Youth Advisory Council, Port Arthur NAACP Youth Chapter and Sacred Heart-St. Mary Junior Daughters Court N0. 32.
She plans to attend the University of Houston in Houston to study business with a concentration in administration.
Other winners in the pageant include first runnerup Laura MCCutcheon, second runnerup Reagan Francis, and third runnerup Brooke Bernard.Brandon Jackson was secort and Jack Giblin was escort runnerup.
Chloe Bergeron won congeniality and Aalalyna Le won photogenic.
