Otaku Food Festival returns to Central Mall for Lunar New Year
Otaku Food Festival has become a common face in the city of Port Arthur Central Mall as it is set to return Jan.18-19 for a celebration of the lunar new year and the year of the snake.
The festival will run Saturday, Jan. 18 from 12 – 8 p.m. and Sunday Jan. 19 from 12 – 5:30.
The two day festival has free entry, hosting 100+ foodand drink vendors, anime vendors, sumo wrestling, voice actors, photo ops and more. Visitors are encouraged to bring cash.
The festival tours around the state of Texas to serve up over 100 food and anime vendors to various cities.
The organizers promise food from all over Asia including Filipino, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese and even Latin food for those wanting something more local.
The Festival has come to Port Arthur multiple times before with great success seeing 100’s of attendees last May during its Cherry Blossom festival celebration.
