A Port Arthur home was destroyed from fire around midnight Thursday, but no injuries occurred from the blaze.
According to a published report from Beaumont’s Channel 12 News, two people lived at the house, but only one was home at the time of the fire. That person was able to get out safely without injury.
Firefighters told police the house had no utilities and those living there were utilizing power from a next door neighbor.
The fire’s origin remains under investigation.
