Christopher Terence Jeffries was the seventh child of eight born to Junior and Shirley Jeffries, from Shelby North Carolina.
He is survived by his siblings (5 brothers) Quadir, Gary, Dwayne, Scott, Rodney Jeffries, as well as (2 sisters) Barbara Lee, and Jennifer Merritt.
Christopher confessed Christ at a early age while growing up in Passaic New Jersey. He joined the Army for the US Military in 1986 where he served his country for 9 years. He then joined the Port Arthur, P.D. in 1997.  Later he began working in the industrial field and join the Air Products team. Chris was a blessing to so many people, because he was able to listen and understand without a judgmental spirit. It didn’t matter what you were going through or how bad things were he was always there to listen with a big warm smile on his face. The smile that would make you smile in the end.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Ex wife, Stephanie Jeffries; two children, Christopher (Melea) Jeffries, Maya Jeffries as well as his two beloved grandchildren; Malachi Jeffries and Levi Jeffries.
A memorial service is to be held at New Hope Baptist Church Port Arthur, TX on March 2, 2016 at 2:00pm.
