Boat ramp at Port Neches Park currently closed after Sunoco oil spill

The boat ramp at Port Neches Park is closed until further notice as crews work to clean a small oil spill at Sunoco.
The spill is estimated at less than 15 barrels and cleanup is underway, according to a Nixle message from the Port Neches Police department.
The U.S. Coast Guard, Texas General Land Office and Oil Mop is on the scene. They will be utilizing the boat ramp at Port Neches Park for their operations and the boat ramp will be closed to the public until advised.
