2 charged in Beaumont store robberies

Beaumont police have arrested two men in connection with convenience store robberies in the city.

Dominick Leday, 21, and Tremaurice A. Randall, 22, both from Beaumont have been arrested and charged. Police obtained warrants for the men late Friday, later found them and took them to police headquarters for questioning before making the arrests.

Both men, who were taken to Jefferson County Jail, were charged with aggravated robbery. More charges were expected.

Leday’s bond was set at a total of $500,000 on Saturday night; Randall’s, $250,000.

Among those who assisted in the investigation were Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms; U.S. Attorney’s office in Beaumont; and the Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division.
