Vidor man dies; investigation continues

A 47-year-old Vidor man was shot and killed late Tuesday, but no arrests have been made.
Vidor police said Wednesday they received a call from a man at 10:32 p.m. Tuesday who said he had shot a man charging at him in a roadway.
Police determined that the caller had approached a male and female arguing in the road in the 100 block of Alamo. When the caller approached the pair, he said, the man charged at him.
Acadian Ambulance Service paramedics pronounced the shooting victim dead at the scene.
Vidor police said the shooter was cooperating with investigators.
No arrest was made Wednesday morning, police said, but the investigation was
