William H. Brown

In Loving Memory, William H. Brown, 93, of Nederland went to be with his Lord on April 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Etta Brown of Henderson, Texas, loving wife of 66 years, Betsy Joan Brown, son Joe Ted Brown, and brothers Steve, Ernest, Joe, Vernon, Ralph and sister, Georgetta.
He is survived by sisters, Doris Williams and Shirley Lyons, son Mack Brown and wife Judy Brown, daughter Betty Brown Haynes, and daughter-in-law Lana Brown.
Grandchildren are Matthew Haynes and wife Lacey Haynes, Todd Haynes, Angela Dodson and Mackenzie Brown along with great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Olivia Haynes.
Mr. Brown was born in Goose Creek, Texas on October 11, 1925 and served in the Army Air Force during WWII. He is fondly remembered by his family as “Tootsie” and as an avid fisherman, hunter and most of all a great gardener. “BB” as his co-workers called him retired from Beaumont Dupont Works.
Mr. Brown was a member of Mid County Baptist Church in Nederland, Texas. Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
