Luz M. Ramos, 91, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at The Springs Healthcare Rehab in Austin, Texas.

Luz was born October 8, 1927 in Anasco, Puerto Rico to Francisco and Maria Jimenez. She was a resident of Port Arthur for 75 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Ramos; daughter, Reina Piazza; granddaughter, Shivron Dorman; and grandson, Jermey Dorman.

Survivors include her four daughters, Lana Hughes and husband Jimmy of Groves, Linda Michon and husband Roy of Friendswood, Toni East of Groves, Cookie Carlquist and husband Donnie of Cedar Park; one son, Oscar Proenza and wife Marilyn of Groves; twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
